With the joint research project Air-kon Matrizen, an innovative project begins to develop new lightweight foundations in the context of sustainable construction. The aim is to significantly increase resource efficiency in construction through targeted concrete displacement and the use of intelligent structural elements. Research is focused on how material efficiency can not only achieve significant concrete savings, but also a noticeable CO₂ reduction. The project thus sends a strong signal for the further development of concrete shaper technologies and for an active contribution to climate protection in the area of modern concrete slabs and foundation solutions.
