Sustainable high-rise construction with Unidome - used by UNIQ TOWERS Düsseldorf
We are pleased that our Unidome voided slabs have been successfully implemented at the impressive UNIQ TOWERS in Düsseldorf's media port — a strong sign of climate-friendly and resource-saving concrete construction in the high-rise building segment.
The four elegant towers offer modern working environments on over 30,600 m2 and follow clear sustainability principles such as cradle-to-cradle and the targeted LEED Gold and WiredScore Platinum certifications.
Why Unidome is a perfect fit for the project:
Our void former technology saves concrete and steel where they are not statically required — for less dead weight, reduced CO2 emissions and optimized foundations.
In this project, the technology was also usefully combined with CO2-reduced concrete.
The solution enables large spans, slim slabs and flexible room concepts — ideal for innovative office spaces such as the UNIQ TOWERS.
A signal for the future of construction.
The use of Unidome shows that sustainability, efficiency and architectural standards can be perfectly combined. Modern high-rise projects can be planned in a climate-oriented manner and built economically — without sacrificing quality or design.
