As part of the “Driving Innovation and Sustainability in Construction” workshop at the Dubai Municipality, the Unidome Group presented its latest development: sustainable and resource-saving prefabricated construction using innovative Unidome XP technology.

In close partnership with the leading German precast concrete elements manufacturer FDU, a modular void former solution was developed which enables significant concrete savings, CO₂ reduction and material efficiency through integrated concrete formers. The unidome concrete shapers act as lost formwork, displace concrete in areas subject to less static loads and contribute to lightweight, high-performance and sustainable precast slabs.
