July 2025: High-rise construction site with sustainable Unidome void former technology in Berlin

Insight into the future of construction — high-rise construction site with sustainable Unidome void former technology in Berlin

Last week, we were able to take an exciting look behind the scenes of one of Berlin's most modern high-rise construction sites — including: Unidome void former technology, an innovative system for voided slabs that combines concrete displacement, resource conservation and climate protection. The result: less material consumption, lower dead weight and significant CO₂ savings — sustainability and efficiency in one system.

The rapid construction progress and precise logistics in a confined space were particularly impressive. The 22nd of a total of more than 30 floors is currently being built — an engineering feat that shows how large spans and sustainable construction can be perfectly combined in high-rise construction.

We're excited to be part of this project. Thanks to everyone involved, in particular RSP Remmel + Sattler Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and ZÜBLIN, for the successful cooperation. We will continue to report on construction progress in the future.
