On the road to climate neutrality — sustainable Unidome application at EDGE Friedrichspark
The EDGE Friedrichspark office complex with a gross floor area of 39,000 square meters is currently being built at Wriezener Bahnhof in Berlin. EDGE is known for pioneering a sustainable future for our built environment as a real estate developer. For example, the office complex will be operated with a 100% green energy concept. In addition, clinker-efficient cement is used, which significantly reduces the CO2 footprint. The use of Unidome concrete molders in all floor slabs ensures high material efficiency and even more CO2 savings. Thanks to Unidome technology, the construction project saves almost 900 cubic meters of concrete consumption. As a result, a load reduction of 2,250 tons can be achieved and around 190 tons of CO2 emissions are avoided. Unidome Group would like to thank all project participants for their excellent cooperation.
