October 2023: Unidome receives approval for DBU funding

Unidome is pleased to receive funding from the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). This support will strengthen research and development of Unidome void former technology, which is already making an important contribution to resource conservation, CO₂ reduction and material efficiency in concrete construction.

The DBU promotes solution-oriented, exemplary projects that advance innovations for environmental and climate protection. By developing efficient concrete shapers, Unidome is helping to sustainably reduce the use of concrete and cement and at the same time enable high-performance construction methods such as voided slabs, flat slabs and prefabricated slabs.

The funding confirms the high importance of Unidome research for sustainable construction and underlines the relevance of our technology as a pioneering solution in the areas of climate protection, recycling and material efficiency.
