Today, the Unidome Group is represented at the 36th training seminar for structural engineers organized by the Association of Test Engineers in Friedberg, Hesse. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about our latest innovations in sustainable void former technology.
The focus is on the new Unidome XP product line, which is developed in close cooperation with our partner fdu for use in precast element slabs. This solution combines the advantages of prefabricated construction with the strengths of unidome concrete shapers and enables significant concrete savings, CO₂ reduction and material efficiency. This brings sustainable construction with precast slabs to a new level.
In addition, we are also presenting the proven Unidome XS product range, which was developed specifically for in-situ concrete solutions. Both technologies are based on the principle of targeted concrete displacement: plastic concrete shapers made from recycled plastic act as lost formwork and displace concrete where it is not statically required. The result is lightweight, resource-saving voided slabs with high load-bearing capacity.
A visit is therefore definitely worthwhile — we are looking forward to exciting discussions about sustainable voided slabs, material efficiency and modern construction.
